I have no idea why this one has been sitting on my shelves unread for so long as well. I'm only one third in, but I'm hooked and delighted already. I really, really liked the Thursday Next series, but it seems to me that this one is even better (this might be due to the fact that I haven't read anything by Fforde in a rather long time and have forgotten how much I like his style, though ;o))...although I'm usually not a big fan of who-dunnits (unless it's a plot line in a Pratchett novel). Can't wait to finally find out what really happened to Humpty Dumpty...
